Our Policies

SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT POLICY

Online booking only, please inform us immediately if you need assistance with booking online. Appointments can be booked 24 hours seven days a week on our site. To avoid disappointment we ask that you book 1 to 2 weeks in advance.
We reserve the right to move/change/or cancel any and all appointments made. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible if any changes are made. This is why we request all your contact information. We would much rather notify you!

                        

           No Guest Policy 
We kindly ask all our clients to arrive at their scheduled appointment alone due to liability. If you arrive at the appointment with a guest, you will be asked to reschedule to another date when you will be able to come alone.

Preparing For Your Appointment
Please come to the appointment with your hair fully prepped ready to be worked on. Prep means: washed, detangled, straightened and moisturized. If you do not use heat on your hair, we ask that you arrive with your hair stretched. Stretched could be a Twist- Out, jumbo braids or any other style where your hair is not compacted into a 'fro. 
The excess time it takes to detangle matted hair is not included in our service times. Should you arrive with extremely matted or tangled hair, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment.

Late Policy

 If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more , please call us. We work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service. Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting every other guests schedule that day. Please be aware in the unfortunate event you are late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

We ask for at least 48-hour notice (email or phone call), as a courtesy, if you will need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We are more than happy to reschedule your appointment if you give at least 48 hour notice.

CONFIRMATION EMAILS OR TEXT
We try very hard to confirm each appointment, however confirmation emails or text are a curtesy, not a guarantee. It is your responsibility to remember the appointment you scheduled. If you do not receive a confirmation prior to your appointment, please contact us to confirm your appointment. 

 

 Deposits

$25 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT.  This deposit is required for all appointments at the time of scheduling to confirm and hold your appointment. The deposit will be applied to your balance due at the end of the appointment.

 E-transfers and Cash only.


PRODUCTS POLICY
Any Products Purchased From Sunshine Studio are final sale.

Refusing Payment to Service Provider Policy
It is your responsibility to pay in full for services IMMEDIATELY following your appointment. If you cannot pay, there will be a police report filed as that is considered stealing.
